Shamanism dates back over 100 000 years and is one of the earliest and most primal healing ways known to man.
The role of the shaman is to be of service to the Earth and Humanity. It is someone who works with the spirits and travels from the upper and lower worlds in order to bring back wisdom, healing techniques and advice from the Ancestors, animal allies and guides in order to restore harmony, balance and personal power to the individual and within the community.
A great definition is that a shaman is someone who walks with one foot in the everyday world and one foot in the spirit world.
The different worlds we travel to are:
A place of Universal wisdom, Father Sky, Sky people, Spirit Guides, Cosmic Beings, Wise Elders, Ascended Masters.
The everyday place where we live here and now.
A place of instinctual knowledge, Mother Earth/Earthly powers, Ancestors, Animal and Plant guides.
